We are deeply saddened by the tragic events that transpired in Lewiston, Maine on October 25, 2023, where a mass shooting led to the loss of 18 innocent lives and left 13 others injured. The shootings occurred at a bowling alley and a restaurant, leaving the community and the nation in mourning. The suspect, identified as Robert Card, opened fire at these venues, creating a scene of terror and despair. The law enforcement agencies are tirelessly working to apprehend the suspect who remains at large, with their search efforts extending to nearby river areas.

In these trying times, our organization, Mental Health Matters, extends its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.
